HTC Nike - Touch without the touch
The HTC Touch was a kneejerk reaction to the iPhone and it received mixed reviews, mainly because of the slightly unintuitive Windows Mobile touchscreen interface. The lack of a genuine keyboard, which for the iPhone was seen as groundbreaking, just seemed like an omission as far the Touch was concerned.
HTC appears to have remedied that with the Nike, due for release in September. The Nike is almost a carbon copy of the Touch externally, but it features a slide out numerical keypad to aid dialling.
Other features include 2 MP camera, GPS, HSDPA/UMTS and a 2.6" touchscreen - yes you will still have to use the screen for typing.
