Nokia to license Quickoffice for its Series 60 platform
Quickoffice today announced a licensing agreement with Nokia that will include Quickoffice - the award- winning Series 60 office software suite - on the Series 60 Platform offering, providing users of Series 60 smartphones with easy and fast access to their native Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
Nokia's Series 60 Platform is the world's leading smartphone platform, utilized by many of the leading mobile phone manufacturers worldwide. The combination of the Series 60 functionality with the Quickoffice software will offer business professionals worldwide the ability to open, view, edit and even print Office documents, such as contracts, business plans, or sales presentations, directly from their Series 60 smartphone.
