Embarassment for Apple as iPhone fails live demo
NBC's Today show was the venue for an embarassing public failure for the iPhone on Friday as co-host Meredith Vieira was unable to pick up an incoming call from a presenter here in rainy London.

This probably had more to do with AT&T than Apple, but it no doubt caused a bit of hair loss among the Apple representatives who were off-screen protecting their babies which had yet to go on sale.
