Orange offer (very) budget smartphone

Orange offer (very) budget smartphone

Orange France (yes we know Orange IS French but most of our readers aren't) have unveiled their latest budget smartphone, the SPV C200.

Built by Amoi and not by HTC as previously anticipated, the SPV C200 can only just be classified as a smartphone. In fact it is only the presence of the ageing Windows Mobile 5 OS that drags it kicking and screaming into the category.

There is no QWERTY keypad, only a 1.3 Megapixel camera and limited connectivity (EDGE and no 3G).

As a result the price is suitably low with Orange offering the SPV C200 for 9 Euros as long as you commit to a two year contract.
