i-mate Ultimate gets FCC approval - at least one of them does anyway
The i-mate Ultimate 6150 has leaped the final hurdle before going on sale in the USA by receiving FCC approval.
The 6150 is potentially the black sheep of the highly anticipated Ultimate line as it doesn't have a physical keyboard, but it does have a promising spec sheet nonetheless.
- Tri-band HSDPA
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Windows Mobile 6
- Integrated FM radio
i-mate CEO Jim Morrison has recently been singing the praises of the Ultimate range.
"No other phone device will be able to drive a 42-inch plasma TV, project high definition videos from the phone onto a TV, play and download iTunes - you can't download iTunes onto another phone."
There is still no firm news of a price or release date for any of the Ultimate line.
