Rumour: Samsung readies first candybar smartphone
There are some pretty convincing rumours circulating online that Samsung is to launch its first candybar-shaped smartphone - the i550.
Coming in an all steel package reminiscent of the Sony Ericsson W880 (the narrow love-em or hate-em keys are also similar), the i550 also packs a GPS receiver, another first for Samsung.
Other rumoured specs include HSDPA connectivity, 3.2-megapixel camera at the back, front-facing camera for video calls, FM radio with standard headphone jack, microSD card slot, 128MB of RAM and the phone will reportedly run the Symbian OS.
