New smartphone platform from China

The SmartNX Mobile operating system is a new OS from Chinese company Chipnuts Technology that plans to take on Palm, Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Chipnuts' NX200 smartphone platform integrates its latest C7280 multi-core mobile multimedia application processor with its open mobile operating system - the SmartNX Mobile and related reference design and product development tools.
