Firmware update plugs iPhone holes
Apple has plugged a few security holes in the iPhone by releasing a security patch that fixed five vulnerabilities in the Safari web browser included with the iPhone OS.
Two of the problems had already been documented, but three remain undisclosed.
The update is only available via iTunes and not as a straight download from the Apple web site.
There had been no reports of anyone actually exploiting any of the vulnerabilities that were addressed.
