The Mio A501 is a GPS-enabled smartphone that is now available across Europe.

Featuring the latest SiRFstar III GPS receiver, providing coverage from up to 20 satellites, you will have highly accurate coverage - no matter how remote your location. So planning your route, whether by car or on foot, is simple and intuitive (as long as you buy the optional navigation software - no it's not included as standard).

Mobile capabilities include Quad band GSM/GPRS with EDGE technology to ensure an improved data rate, allowing faster and better quality connections for your internet applications. Furthermore, Bluetooth wireless technology makes hands free calling safe and easy when used with a Bluetooth car kit or headset (sold separately). The A501 will automatically switch from navigation to phone mode whenever you receive a call.

Also a fully functional Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA, the A501 is a reliable digital assistant. With Microsoft Office Mobile and Outlook, you can take your work with you.
