HTC Kaiser gets global approval - network details hinted at

The Global Certification Forum for GSM and UMTS devices has approved the HTC Kaiser under a multitude of different brand names which hint at which carriers will take it in the coming months.

Officially branded HTC TyTN II (why HTC, why?) the Kaiser has also received approval as Vodafone 1615, SFR v1615 and Swisscom XPA1615 which leads us to believe that it will be carried by Vodafone in the UK, SFR in France and Swisscom for our moutain-ringed cousins in the alps.

We had already had confirmation of a T-Mobile launch in Germany.

Smartphonereviewer.com is now a little confused. Do we call it the Kaiser, the HTC P4550 or the HTC TyTN II? We'll err on the side of caution and tag it up as all three.
