Orange spurns QWERTY Touch Dual in UK

Orange has taken the rather strange decision to nobble the HTC Touch Dual when it launches on the network and replace the 20 key quasi-QWERTY layout with a 16 key nuumeric pad.

The consensus is that Orange is therefore aiming the Touch Dual at the sub-smartphone market (smartish-phone if you like) and will position it beneath its rather paltry full QWERTY range.
