i-mate Ultimate '30 times more powerful than iPhone'
i-mate CEO Jim Morrison has been singing the praises of some of his company's new products, the Ultimate range.
In an interview with Arabian Business Morrison said, "The Ultimate phone range will be vastly superior to anything the Middle East has ever seen."
That may not mean as much as it would if it were the Far East Morrison was referring to, but there is no doubt that the i-mate Ultimate range sounds like quite a set of beasts.
"No other phone device will be able to drive a 42-inch plasma TV, project high definition videos from the phone onto a TV, play and download iTunes - you can't download iTunes onto another phone."
The '30 times' headline comes from the Ultimate's bandwidth - 3.6MB compared to 128k.
The i-mate Ultimate will be launched in the Middle East in September at the annual GITEX show in Duba.
